The aim of this CPD is to introduce individuals to a social approach to neurodiversity and its application across various environments. It is designed to be engaging and interactive, ensuring individuals gain current knowledge and practical tools to support inclusion in aquatics and beyond. The strength of this CPD lies in its co-production, utilising genuine case studies to illustrate how neuro-affirming approaches have been successfully applied with swimmers of different ages and needs. It emphasises the shift from a medical to a social model of disability, highlighting difference as strength rather than deficit.
The CPD is for everyone over the age of 16 years inclusive of educators, volunteers, athletes, coaches, teachers, officials, learners and the wider workforce from within and outside the leisure sector.

The aim of this CPD is to provide individuals with the foundations of inclusivity to enable a change in mind set by adopting the social approach of inclusion to a range of environments. It is designed to be engaging throughout and ensures the individual obtains current up-to-date knowledge and tools to put inclusion into practice. The strength of this CPD lies in its co-production, using genuine case studies to illustrate how the social approach to inclusion has been applied successfully in a range of sports and environments.
The CPD is for anyone and everyone over the age of 14 years inclusive of educators, volunteers, officials, learners, teachers, coaches, athletes, and the general workforce from within and outside the leisure sector.
This CPD provides 4 CIMSPA CPD points endorsed against CIMSPA’s Working Inclusively Professional Standard.

This CPD is designed to help non-specialist Swimming Teachers and Assistants with the knowledge of how they can support Neurodiverse learners within their swimming lessons.
The CPD is for Level 2 swimming teachers over the age of 16 years.

It is designed to be engaging throughout and ensures the individual obtains current up-to-date knowledge and aquatic adaptations around health conditions and tools to help improve the overall experience of aquatic activity programmes. The strength of this CPD lies in its co-production with health experts from Swim England’s Swimming and Health Commission group.
This CPD is aimed anyone over the age of 16 years inclusive of swimming teachers and assistants, coaching staff, pool operators, swim coordinators, managers, link workers, parents & carers, active partnerships health champions, school teachers and volunteers.
This CPD provides 4 CIMSPA CPD points endorsed against CIMSPA’s Working with People with Long Term Conditions Professional Standard.

The aim of this CPD is to provide individuals with current up-to-date knowledge, aquatic adaptations and tools to help improve the overall experience for pupils with SEND who attend a school swimming lesson.
This CPD is aimed at anyone over the age of 16 years inclusive of swimming teachers and assistants, coaching staff, pool operators, swim coordinators, schools teachers and staff delivering school swimming lessons and / or water safety programmes with SEND pupils.
This CPD provides 3 CIMSPA endorsed CPD points.
4.5 hours theory and 1.5 hours pool practical.

The aim of this CPD is to provide individuals with the basic knowledge required to effectively engage and interact with autistic children within a swimming lesson.
It is designed to be engaging throughout and ensures the individual obtains current up-to-date knowledge and adaptations to help improve the swimmers experience.
This CPD focuses on understanding autism, the challenges faced in swimming lessons, how to positively interact with autistic children and discussion on ways to make lessons engaging.
This CPD is aimed at anyone over the age of 16 years inclusive of swimming teachers and assistants, swim coordinators, schools teachers and staff delivering school swimming lessons.
This CPD provides 3 CIMSPA CPD points endorsed against CIMSPA’s Working Inclusively (working with disabled people) Professional Standard.
